Individual therapy is a form of therapy in which the client is treated one-on-one with a therapist.

Things look great on the outside, people think you have it all, but on the inside you are struggling. You can’t sleep, you are anxious and depressed and your relationship is suffering. If the strategies that have always worked to help you hold it together aren’t working anymore, I can teach you better ways of meeting your needs, especially in your relationship. By working with me, you can learn to build a happy marriage, reduce your anxiety, and overcome depression. I am a nonjudgemental therapist who works with men, women and couples who are struggling on the inside. I help people build more satisfying relationships and find more meaning in life. I am here to provide help that is both practical and transformative. I want you to feel safe and heard.

Through expert counseling, it is possible to live without doubts, fears or depression. Going to therapy is one of the best things that you can do for yourself. Therapy is an investment in your well being. Self care is very important. If you are not at your best, how can you be effective for you friends, family and loved ones?

I use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) with my clients. CBT is a type of therapy in which the client is taught to change their way of thinking. CBT focuses on using coping strategies to help solve current problems. CBT also focuses on changing thoughts and beliefs.

I use DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) with my clients. DBT teaches you to regulate your emotions and learn about the triggers that lead to reactive emotional states.

I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) with my clients. EMDR is a type of psychotherapy that uses eye movements to heal symptoms of trauma, treat symptoms of anxiety, guilt, anger, depression, panic, sleep disturbance and flashbacks. The results are permanent.

I use CBT-I (CBT for insomnia) with my clients.
